This shiraz tastes like:

  1. An Australian sheepdog;
  2. Sorta like wine, only better;
  3. Huge, sweet cherry and berry fruit that is kept in check by some decent tannins and great acidity. Add to that some good spice. It’s a little wonky right now, but even just six months in the bottle will help all the different elements come into balance.
  4. Both 2 and 3.

The finish for this wine:

  1. Occurs as soon as you drain the bottle – you’re finished;
  2. Is pleasant and lovely, as most Nordic folk seem to be (the Finish, Swedes, etc.);
  3. Horrendously lengthy. It just goes and goes, with the fruit and smoky oak lasting so long they roll into option 4;
  4. Fruit and smoky oak.

Pencils down. Now please exchange papers with your neighbor and grade embarrassingly liberally. When you get 100%, celebrate with this fantabulous red!

Cheers,
TSW
